I am a native of Georgia, and attended West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with honors and was president of Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society. I went on to complete my residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Pinnacle Health Systems in Harrisburg, PA in 1991 and was chief resident from 1995-1996. I started my private practice in August of 1996, providing services to Cleveland, Athens, Etowah, and surrounding areas for over 25 years. I am currently an active member of the AOAO and Board Certified in Orthopedic care.
My professional focus is in general orthopedic care with emphasis on joint replacement and operative/non operative spine. An Orthopedic physician can treat many different musculoskeletal conditions. If you have pain, stiffness, or an injury decreasing your quality of life and mobility, don’t hesitate to seek orthopedic care. Often, non operative treatment including medications, physical therapy, injections, or braces can improve mobility. In other cases, surgery might be recommended. We offer pain management for established patients, including epidurals, facet injections, and neural stimulators.
I am married with two children and enjoy the outdoors, bird hunting, fishing, and spending time with my family. I am a licensed pilot and enjoy flying for travel and recreation.
I am proud to be part of a team, dedicated to giving patients the highest quality of care and reducing pain. I enjoy helping patients achieve independence, regain mobility, and return to their active lives. Thank you for choosing Tennessee Valley Bone and Joint for your orthopedic care.
